The brief

Halcyon wanted their first developer summit to feel like a product: live robot demos on the main stage, six parallel workshop tracks and a hardware playground on the floor. Live robotics on stage means rigging loads, safety envelopes and failure modes most venues won't touch.

What we did

We ran a rigging survey in week one and designed the stage around the demo envelope, not the other way around. Every demo had a rehearsed fallback cut. Registration processed six hundred badges in under forty minutes.

The result

Zero dropped demos across two days, a 94 event NPS, and a keynote recording that carried their launch announcement to ten times the room's audience.
